RentalTiger currently directly manages the majority of its rental properties.

 

In key worldwide cities and destinations, we are looking for select partners where you fit the the RentalTiger brand and approach. These pre-approved, pre-selected, pre-screened prospective properties will be given equal sales weight to properties managed by RentalTiger.

 

 

 

We require the following from all prospective locations:

 

 

  1. The property must be 4 or 5 star rated or equivalent with upscale or better furnishings, amenities and appointments. We give a preference for stainless steel appliances, marble flooring and granite countertops as a few examples.
  2. The property must easily be distinguished as 'high-end', upscale or luxury unit and be in a similar area of the city and in a similar building.
  3. You must own or have a long term lease for the property.
  4. The property must be fully furnished.
  5. The property must have a full kitchen with stove, oven, dishwasher and microwave oven.
  6. The unit and building must be fully finished with no construction or building being done.
  7. The end traveller must be able to lease the property for a minimum 1 week or more. MINIMUM leases of 6 months or more are not a fit; leases of 1 week , 1 month, 3 months or 6 months are ideal.

 

 

 

 

We prefer one or more of the following for prospective locations:

 

  1. Walking distance to key attractions or being in the center of the city.
  2. Ideally be accessible by public transportation, or be accessible to an international airport.
  3. Be close to business hubs or the commercial area of the city.
  4. In-unit washer and dryer facilities.

 

 

 

RentalTiger Compensation Structure

 

Primarily, RentalTiger is given a base weekly and monthly rate for a given property (a "Cost Price" or "Base Price"). A markup is added, quoted and sold to RentalTiger clients. The lease is arranged between RentalTiger and the traveller and between RentalTiger and the property owner. At the time of rental, RentalTiger pays the owner for the duration of the clients lease and receives payment from the client (the traveller). If a client wishes to stay for 3 months, RentalTiger would pre-pay 3 months with the property owner.

 

For select cases and in lieu of the above structure, RentalTiger earns a commission for a given referral for every sale originating with a RentalTiger customer. In this structure, the lease is arranged between the traveller and the property owner. RentalTiger staff are available to answer questions about the property from prospective tenants where applicable.

  2. A description of the unit and its features.
  3. A description of the building and its features.
  4. A brief description of the area.
  5. Photos of each room (living area, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, entrance, exit)
  6. Do you own the property and if so for how long?
  7. Do you currently rent this property and if so what do you generally receive for a weekly, monthly or 3 month rental?

Expectations before a property is approved:

 

  1. Legal agreements reflecting our relationship.
  2. A stay at the property by a RentalTiger staff member.
  3. Further checks to verify validity of ownership.

 

 

 

Once approved, expect the following:

 

  1. Listing the property on our site takes 3 business days. Multiple pages will be created on your behalf.
  2. Your property will be optimized by expert search engine optimization staff for your specific property in addition to the optimization in place for the RentalTiger.com site(s).
  3. It takes 1-4 weeks for search engines and RSS feeds to 'pick up the pages' created on our site for your property.
  4. Paid and un-paid search engine and offline marketing will be conducted on behalf of the property.
  5. Emails and newsletters will be sent to existing and clients who have expressed an interest to be notified of new properties.
  6. Affiliates will be notified to profile and resell your property to their web traffic.
  7. Proprietary offline (traditional) and on-line marketing vehicles will be deployed with the sole mission of having your property rented as much as possible in as professional and efficient a manner.
