Is the corporate housing lease complicated? Not at all. View a sample lease.

 

How do I know what's going on before I apply? During my application? Check your email. We send out regular updates at each step.

 

Are you a hotel? No. We rent apartments. We are not a broker or realtor.

 

How do I know what date an apartment is available? Check the individual apartment page, it has all the latest details, the latest pricing and latest availability.

 

What's included in my rent? Just bring your clothes and laptop and that should be it. Furniture, telephone, tv and cable, high speed Internet, pots, pans, towels, and much more. A more detailed list is on each apartment page; we tried to provide everything we thought you would need for your stay.

 

High speed Internet is included for free? Yes.

 

Are there laundry facilities? Yes, varies by location but we really push for in-apartment laundry or at the very least in the building.

Is it secure to submit an application online? Yes. Our pages are encrypted and the lease application can be completed online.

 

How do I pay? Online through a major credit card via PayPal or Google Checkout.

 

How will I be contacted? When your application is approved, you'll get an e-mail with further info on how to pay. You'll get a second e-mail when funds are received and confirmed. And of course your keys and their tracking number via email 5 days before arrival.

 

How do I get the keys? We courier them to your billing address 5 days before your arrival date. Within 24 hours if you are arriving in under 5 days.

 

Is there a deposit? Yes, normally equivalent to your first months rent. The amount is listed clearly for each apartment and on the online lease.

 

Is there a fee to apply? No.

Frequently Asked Questions - after renting.

 

 

How do I know my mailing address? My phone number? And other day to day little things? This is included in your 'Welcome E-mail' - we want to empower you with this information without having to ask us. Contact us if you need this information again.

 

I need maintenance: check your 'Welcome E-mail' (received after your payment is received) for maintenance contact details and a how-to guide. This is rare since our apartments and furnishings are so new. Of course you can call / email us with what the problem is, when it happened and we'll take it from there.

 

I got locked out: call us and we'll arrange for the quickest way to replace your key. We encourage you to keep the building contact person on your cell phone (info provided in your 'Welcome E-mail'). Of course you can call / email us..

 

I broke something: we'll subtract the original purchase price from your deposit. If need be, we'll replace it while you're there and have it delivered/installed. Rental Tiger expects you to treat your new apartment as if its your own - this keeps our costs down - but we know accidents happen. We do our best to make it a non-issue where and if possible.

 

My initial set of .. (soap/liquid detergent/dishwashing liquid/ or other usables and perishables).. have been used: If you need us to ship you items (at an additional cost), we can do so and bill your credit card. Most our apartments are close to a supermarket and stores and some even have delivery services in the area. While others have concierge services that can help. How do I get my deposit back? If its under 90 days since we charged your credit card, your deposit goes to the credit card you used. If after 90 days, a check will be issued. Regardless of how you paid, this is done 30 days or less after you depart your home. Any damages are deducted from your deposit and a statement is emailed to you outlining what the charges were.
